Wherever possible, we prioritise brands that avoid harsh chemicals, minimise toxins, and take a responsible approach to sourcing and production, without compromising on performance. This means you can enjoy your treatments knowing they align with a more sustainable and safety-conscious future.

Fair Employment Matters

Unlike many salons in the nail industry, all of our staff are employed on PAYE contracts. This means:

  • Fair wages and financial stability

  • Employee rights and protections

  • Holiday pay and sick pay

  • A supportive and professional working environment

Transparency & Accountability

We are committed to operating with honesty and integrity in every part of our business. We:

  • Accept card payments for all services

  • Pay VAT in full

  • Do not operate as a cash-based business, though we can accept cash if a client needs to pay in cash. 

  • Hold and display all required licences and permissions for what we do

This ensures full transparency, supports fair wages, and reflects our commitment to running a responsible, values-based business.

Reducing Waste & Recycling

The nail industry is known for generating significant waste, but we are actively working to change that. At Goldfinch Nails, we:

  • Recycle materials wherever possible

  • Reduce single-use plastics

  • Where possible, we choose reusable tools and sustainable alternatives, ALWAYS sterilising tools between treatments.

  • Partner with responsible waste management practices

We are continually reviewing and improving our processes to minimise our environmental footprint.
